Set at 7,000 feet under the cool shade of ponderosa pines near the Coconino National Forest and near historic Route 66, this KOA is a hub for exploring the Grand Canyon and other attractions. In summer, ride the nearby Skyride up to 11,500 feet for a view of the Grand Canyon, Utah and the city of Flagstaff. Set out on hiking trails from your campsite. Or go east, where a paved walkway leads into Walnut Canyon and its ancient cliff dwellings. Drive among Oak Creek Canyon’s multihued cliffs, then browse the shops of Sedona.
